IELLEN-led partnerships

The IELLEN encourages a culture of co-operation and collaboration amongst stakeholders – ie education providers, not for profit organisations, LGAs, business and industry.

At any one time we lead or facilitate between six to twelve partnerships, networks, projects, or committees.

During 2016 these include:

The Inner Metro Youth and Community Partnership (IMYCP) - a network of organisations and stakeholders which meets to share information; develop strategic, whole of community approaches that support young people; and to establish or actively support new initiatives, where appropriate. Read more...

A Disability Pathways Partnership (DDP), to increase engagement with schools, employers and community groups to support young people with a disability

An Applied/Flexible Learning (AFL) Network, which identifies and/or provides curriculum resources, supports and strategies (including PD / networking opportunities)

Partnerships that support life-long learning and career engagement. This includes our commitment to promoting careers in growth industries such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths (STEM), and the facilitation of workplace tasters talks from Employers.

Carers Support Partnerships: The IELLEN leads two carers support partnerships – the first involves services which support young carers; the second brings together providers which have an interest in carers of young people, such as grandparents, who are raising children/ young people aged 10 to 19.

Have you seen "Seen, Heard, Celebrated"? Our short film celebrates the contribution of Young Carers, while raising awareness about the issues they face. The clip was launched as part of 2016 National Youth Week in April.
