These Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) based programs are the result of a collaborative approach by community, education and business to create alternative and engaging education programs for young people who are disengaged from mainstream schooling. The programs are flexible, varied and can cater to individual needs where appropriate.
What is VCAL?
Through community partnerships the Inner Eastern LLEN plans to facilitate the following VCAL programs to engage young people in 2006.
IELLEN/SKYS VCAL [Foundation]
A flexible, multimedia-oriented course for those who have not experienced success in mainstream secondary education. Includes a Cert. I in Media and Cert. I Workplace Education. Participants receive a high level of support.
