On Track In Schools

The Inner Eastern LLEN's On Track In Schools (OTIS) project supports students to engage in a pathway to education, training or employment.

It’s a program that puts an IELLEN project worker in contact with a student in (or out of) school/TAFE, to offer support, provide information about pathways, and sort out problems.  It's for those who are having trouble and are at risk of disengaging, or those who have disengaged and are looking for other options.

Solutions may be as simple as a change of school for example.  The worker offers support and advice to assist the young person to get back into or continue education or training.  They are keen to help the young person either stay in school, or if they decide to leave ensure the person is connected to another training organisation or support agency.

Teachers, parents, referring agencies or young people themselves can use the form at right to allow us to assist.
