Robyn JacksonRobyn Jackson has been the Director of the TAFE School of Social Sciences, and the Prahran Campus manager at Swinburne since July 2003. Robyn has taught, designed and managed education and related programs in many different contexts, including within two dual sector universities, secondary schools, industry and community centres. In addition to teaching programs Robyn managed the Equity and Social Justice Branch at Victoria University and was until her appointment to Swinburne TAFE, the Executive Director of the Victorian Cultural and Recreation Industry Training Board. Robyn is passionate about learning for its intrinsic worth to the individual as well as its critical role in developing the society and economy. She joined the Committee of Management of the Inner Eastern Local Learning and Employment Network to ensure pathways for young people at Swinburne and to work with other people and organisations concerned with the future of young people in the inner east.
Member Profile - Mark Rosser

Mark RosserMark is the manager of St Kilda Youth Services (SKYS), a non-profit community organisation that helps young people in the City of Port Phillip. For the past 10 years Mark has been working with homeless young people, assisting them to overcome barriers to accommodation, employment and education. This is often achieved through programs that help to develop life skills, and connections to community. “Things like confidence and self-esteem are necessary to develop the capacity to access employment or education.”SKYS has strong ties with the IELLEN. “We are a member organisation, and SKYS shares many of the basic philosophies about re-engaging young people towards education and employment. I feel that my role on this [Committee of Management] board is important in that I can help effect change within our local community. Currently we are focusing on developing creative arts initiatives accessible to young people – they’re quite exciting for me to be a part of.”
