There are two types of Members:
Community Member can be a person living,
working or studying within the IELLEN boundary who has
an interest in post compulsory education, training and
employment.
Organisational Membership There are
nine categories of organisational membership. Each organisational
member formally nominates a person to represent their
organisation in the network.
The IELLEN holds
an Annual General Meeting each year to which all members
are invited. The Committee
of Management has 20 members who are elected annually. |
Robyn
Jackson has been the Director of the TAFE School of Social
Sciences, and the Prahran Campus manager at Swinburne
since July 2003. Robyn has taught, designed and managed
education and related programs in many different contexts,
including within two dual sector universities, secondary
schools, industry and community centres. In addition
to teaching programs Robyn managed the Equity and Social
Justice Branch at Victoria University and was until her
appointment to Swinburne TAFE, the Executive Director
of the Victorian Cultural and Recreation Industry Training
Board. Robyn is passionate about learning for its intrinsic
worth to the individual as well as its critical role
in developing the society and economy. She joined the
Committee of Management of the Inner Eastern Local Learning
and
Employment Network to ensure pathways for young people
at Swinburne and to work with other people and organisations
concerned with the future of young people in the inner
east.
